Here is a letter to the Editor that I wrote to the New York Times in response to a column by William Kristol, a McCain supporter. The link to his article appears immediately below and my letter follows.

Dear Editor:
Despite William Kristol's clear support for John McCain, his own analysis of the McCain campaign in which he highlights glaring flaws, portends a failed McCain presidency. What gives us confidence in an Obama presidency is precisely how well Senator Obama, in contrast, has run his campaign. Even Mr. Kristol acknowledges this. Obama has proven himself to be a consummate manager. Presidential campaigns are a reflection of the candidate themselves and the individual cannot be conveniently separated from the campaign apparatus as Mr. Kristol suggests in his advice to McCain to "fire his campaign." The need for such advice now, is a strong indication that a year from now under a McCain presidency we would be advising him to fire his White House staff. Already the mean-spirited McCain-Palin candidacy has done nothing but sow division and hatred in an already divided nation. This country needs so much more from our President.
